I Want Your Take
What do you think?
Hope you’re having a lovely weekend.
It was a wild week, so keeping this quick. Here are a couple things I enjoyed in the last 24 hours and a question for you.
The diamond truther. An old video resurfaced from a series of a kid going around school testing his teachers’ diamond rings for authenticity. Is there a setting for “technically lab grown, still $13,200”?
2. Apparently I need to watch Love Story? Or do I? I got a real kick out of my sister telling me she has no idea what “CBK” means. Meanwhile, the internet remains deeply invested in debating Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s style…
3. What are you curious about?
I’m working on a couple of product reviews, and I like to check in occasionally to see if there’s something specific you’re curious about or would like me to explore. You can share it the comments:

I saw someone (maybe Grace Atwood?) mention recently that simple black/white silhouettes with denim isn’t style it’s just the glorification of skinny. That’s what I see with CBK. Her style wasn’t ground breaking or unique, she was just the embodiment of feminine beauty standards. Skinny and blonde.
My best NYC pal & I used to lurk around Tribeca for a glimpse of John. I had every issue of George. I lived through & followed every second of their lives & remember what I was wearing that sad summer afternoon. I came to Love Story with the most skeptical of eyes. I am loving it.
